Still on Santa Rosa Rd in the Southern Corridor of the Sta Rita Hills, this vineyard is just a couple degrees warmer and tends to ripen a bit quicker. We get a more relaxed and even growing season from this spot and it leads to a very pure expression. As with Bentrock, this is our first vineyard designate bottling from this site as we have worked with it in the past but didn’t feel the personalities of the prior iterations were a good enough translation of the spot.
