From its humble beginning in 1987, the Ojai Wine Festival has been a cornerstone event in our community, brought to you by the Rotary Club of Ojai West Foundation, Inc. Over the years, it has evolved into a renowned regional fundraiser, attracting as many as 4,000 attendees from Southern California and beyond. The Ojai Wine Festival has made its home at the beautiful Lake Casitas Recreation Area event site. With its ideal venue and extraordinary fan base, the Ojai Wine Festival has become a favorite affair for attending wineries and breweries.
Admission includes unlimited tastes of wine and beer, an elegant crystal keepsake wine glass, musical entertainment and lakeside dance floor. As you enter the event, an exceptional collection of award-winning wineries awaits you. For beer lovers, our beer garden offers a fantastic variety of regional craft brews. Discover an impressive selection of local food vendors and gourmet food trucks selling delicious culinary delights. Our silent auction has become a popular attraction featuring fine wines, private tasting parties, VIP winery tours, fine craft items and jewelry. In addition, we have artisan vendors, musical entertainment, and a lakeside dance floor.

Since its inception, the Ojai Wine Festival has raised over $1,600,000.00. All net proceeds from The Ojai Wine Festival, a 501(c)3 non-profit, aid many important Rotary Community Service Projects which focus on improving education in our public schools, helping area youth through grants in the arts, music, and athletic programs, supporting the elderly, and assisting low-income families. Fitting examples of local projects include science-based field trips for elementary school students on the Rotary Floating Classroom, Elementary School Dictionary project, educational scholarships for graduating seniors, free family-friendly summer band concerts at Libbey Park, and Girl’s Empowerment Workshop.
In addition, the Rotary of Ojai West Foundation, Inc., supports many international projects that protect the environment and drinking water, implement literacy programs, help improve women’s and children’s health, combat poverty, fight diseases, and eradicate polio worldwide and fund grants for Peace Projects.
